NSC decides to close all educational institutions by April 5

ISLAMABAD: The National Security Committee has decided to shut down educational institutions nationwide by April 5 due to the Karuna virus.

An important meeting of the National Security Committee, chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan, was attended by the three Chiefs of the Armed Forces and Federal Ministers Secretaries including DGISI Lieutenant General Faiz Hameed.

The National Security Meeting discussed the situation with the Karuna virus and the National Security Committee made important decisions on the prevention of the Karuna virus.

At the National Security Committee meeting, it was decided that the borders of both Afghanistan and Iran would be closed for two weeks.

It was decided in the meeting that spectators will not be allowed to attend PSL matches which have been moved to Lahore and they will be held in closed stadiums.

In the National Security Meeting, it was decided to tighten the monitoring process at airports and borders while suspending international flights to other airports besides Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad.






National Security Committee meeting decided that all government-run private educational institutions, including main seminaries, will remain closed until April 5, according to the Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood in his tweet. The decision will be reviewed.
